Police in Massachusetts who were investigating a report of a firearm got something very different from one suspect – a demonstration of his biceps.
A report filed at Northampton Police Department states that Police were dispatched to an apartment following complaints that a man might have a gun. The events that occurred weren't exactly life threatening though.
Officers approached an apartment and asked the man and woman who were ‘heavily intoxicated’ whether they knew why police had been contacted.
The report then details a very unusual series of events:
‘
I notified him that we had received a call in regards to him having a gun. XX stated that he had no guns except his biceps which he proceeded to flex. This same type of call happened about a week prior. XX advised that we could search his room and no gun was located except a water gun located on top of a small table to the right side of his bed.’
Northampton Detective Alan Borowski did confirm to the
Washington Post that he had spotted the man before and acknowledged that the 53-year-old’s biceps were “all right” for his age, adding:
“But he was probably bigger back in the day.”
