Two men have died following a light aircraft crash earlier this afternoon.
The incident reportedly took place near Mount Leinster at the Carlow/Wexford border today.
The men are both believed to be from Co. Meath, with one man said to be in his early 50s and the other in his 60s.
RTÉ has reported that the plane left Ballyboy airfield earlier this morning.
Members of the gardaí and South East Mountain rescue are at the scene.
