Sad news from Perth today.
Two Irish men have reportedly been killed in an accident on a construction site in Perth, Western Australia.
It is believed that the men suffered fatal injuries after a concrete slab fell on them at the construction site.
The Department of Foreign Affairs had said it is aware of the case and is ready to provide assistance.
Australian media is reporting that the accident took place in East Perth.

Construction company Jaxon has expressed their condolences with the relatives and friends of the two men, both of whom are believed to be from Northern Ireland.
“Our workforce is grieving and our focus is on supporting the families and those affected.
“As a mark of respect, and to fully support our employees, all Jaxon sites will be closed tomorrow,” a statement from the company said.
