Tributes flood in for young woman found dead at Belfast nightclub

The Belfast woman who passed away while on a night out in the city, was branded 'the loveliest girl inside and out'.

Chloe Ferris has been described as a ‘beautiful genuine soul’.

The Belfast beauty technician was found unconscious in the early hours of Sunday morning at the LUX nightclub.

Emergency services attended the scene just after 2am following reports of Ms Ferris, as well as another woman who is understood to be a friend of Ms Ferris, were unconscious.

Mr Ferris was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other girl was transferred to hospital.

A statement from the PSNI (Police Service of Northern Ireland) confirmed they were investigating the sudden death of a woman, in her 20s, at the Belfast nightclub.

They stated: "Police, fire crews and paramedics were called to the venue at around 2.20am following reports that two women had fallen unconscious.

"Sadly, upon arrival, one of the women was found to have passed away."

The young woman's death notice confirmed that she passed away on December 1.

The notice read: "Beloved daughter of Declan and Sharon, much loved sister of Christopher, Declan and Barry, much loved aunt, niece cousin, part of the 'Sister Squad' and friend to many. RIP."

Tributes and condolences flooded in on the notice, one saying: "The loveliest girl inside and out. Thinking of Chloe’s friends and family. Heartbreaking."

Another described Ferris as 'a beautiful genuine soul with the biggest heart and personality.’

Her former school, St Clare’s Primary School commented: "Thinking of one of our past pupils who died suddenly today Chloe Ferris. Deepest sympathy to her mum, dad and brothers at this heartbreaking time."
