There’s going to be a Love Island podcast and we’re VERY excited about the host

One week and counting

Niamh Maher

Kiss your evenings goodbye.

With the good weather making a welcome return this week it’s starting to feel officially like summer. Despite this, from next Monday onwards, we don’t actually care if it pisses rain every day as Love Island will be returning. This, of course, means we’ll be sitting in every evening and basking in the glow of overtly tanned and pristinely polished Brits as they wade through the trials and tribulations that only partying on a beautiful island can bring.

We’ve already told you about the new regulations regarding smoking on the island, well there’s another change afoot which doesn’t impact the Islanders directly but will certainly feed our obsession. For the first time in Love Island history, a daily podcast (aptly titled ‘The Morning After’) will be available for our listening pleasure, and lads… it gets better, none other than Kem Cetinay will be hosting.

According to the Radio Times, Kem will be joined by TV presenter Arielle Free for the official podcast which will drop a generous six episodes a week and will feature  “exclusive guests, superfans, and interviews with the latest dumped islanders”.

We’re talking about the return of Love Island and all kinds of reality TV guilty pleasures on our own podcast this week. We’re joined by 98fm’s Rebecca Shekleton and Celina Murphy of One Fab Day as we take a well-earned break from reality and focus our minds on some delicious guilty pleasures, from singing karaoke solo on a Saturday morning to our ‘interesting’ crushes we’re laying it all out there.

And if any of you say you wouldn’t marry Michael Bolton, you’re lying.
