Temperatures are expected to soar his weekend with highs of 21 degrees forecasted. Met Eireann has finally got some good weather news to share, but there will be a few unsettled days to come before the sunshine.
From Friday, there will be sunny spells with temperatures ranging from 11 to 17 degrees Celsius, but thundery rain is expected through Leinster and east Munster during the evening hours.
Similar situation on Saturday with a wet start to the day in most parts, with temperatures of 11 to 16 degrees Celsius, highest over Leinster.
The weather is looking good for Sunday as it will be a much milder day in all areas, with highest temperatures of 15 to 20 or 21 degrees Celsius.
That warmer weather will continue into early next week with overall dry spells. Thundery showers could happen during this period too but it’s expected to be mostly dry.
