If only Barbie didn’t clash with Love Island..
Love Island‘s Tasha Ghouri came very close to starring alongside the likes of Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling in the live-action adaptation of Barbie that’s due out at the end of the year.
In the recently released trailer, we got a sneak peek of the movies storyline and saw Ken and Barbie drive into the ‘real world’.
The highly anticipated movie has a star-studded cast that includes Nicola Coughlan, John Cena, Ncuti Gatwa, Helen Mirren and Will Ferrell who all have roles.
But, if Love Island wasn’t a thing, Tasha Ghouri would also be on that list.
The reality show contestant revealed that she auditioned to be a dancer in the movie but had to step back because she got accepted for Love Island.
Tasha who made history by becoming Love Island’s first ever deaf contestant, took to Twitter last night with the news.
She wrote: “Fun fact, I got to the final round of the barbie film audition as a dancer but didn’t get the job – filming was at same time as Love Island, crazy how the universe works”.
