Six people were taken to hospital from the Twisted Pepper music venue on the night that tragic Ana Hick collapsed, it has been claimed.
The popular 18-year-old was partying with friends at the Middle Abbey Street club on Saturday night before falling ill and being rushed to the Mater Hospital, where she died on Sunday evening.
It is understood that Loreto College student Hick has taken a form of ecstasy earlier in the night and the results of a toxicology report are expected to confirm this as the cause of her death.
According to The Irish Times, gardaí have revealed that six other people were taken to hospital from the Twisted Pepper on the night in question and they are confident that they have identified a man who has been supplying drugs to Ana and some of her friends.
Other outlets are reporting that a man in his 20s has been arrested and questioned in relation to drugs offences.
Hick, an aspiring actor, was laid to rest on Wednesday following a funeral service in Dalkey.
