Madeleine McCann’s parents have once again been subjected to the vile humour of Internet trolls.
A Redbubble store operated by a man under the screenname of Steve, has received much criticism for offering shoppers tshirts and iPad covers emblazoned with the slogan: “McCann’s Gym (unfit for parents).”
The tshirts and other items featured a simple illustration and the offensive slogan. Under the illustration are the words: “Creche facilities. Relax by the pool. Lose yourself in our tapas bar.”

The seller describes the items as “cruel but funny.”
The items came to light only hours after the news broke that police are investigating an ‘important new lead’ in the child’s disappearance.
According to
The Sun, detectives from Scotland Yard are following a tip that a gang of European traffickers snatched the child after taking pictures of her.
A source close to the investigation said:
“This is an important new line of inquiry which could provide an explanation on whether Madeleine was abducted and transported away.
“It raises hope that she could still be alive.”
Madeleine went missing in 2007 while on holiday with her family in Praia da Luz, in Portugal’s Algarve. She was three years old at the time.
