This shop’s back to school display has angered people

HOW did this happen?

Back to school deals are in every store these days. Parents are stocking up on all the essentials before their kids go back to school. From school uniforms to pencil cases and everything in between. Shops are moving around their aisles and creating signs so that the back to school selection is very visible. Unfortunately, someone in Walmart in the States didn't think one of their signs through. Hanging above a large selection of guns read the sign, "Own the school year like a hero".

People aren't entirely sure if it was a sign placed in the wrong area of the shop or if it was just a very inappropriate suggestion. Walmart later confirmed that they had removed the sign as soon as they established which shop it was featured in.
