Food and wine critic Paolo Tullio has passed away following a short illness.
The much-loved former chef was well known for his restaurant reviews and appearances on television shows including The Restaurant.
According to The Irish Independent, the 65-year-old had been unwell for a number of months before his death and celeb manager Noel Kelly this evening paid tribute to Tullio, describing him as “a great friend, full of kindness and with only positive things to say of others”.
Friends and fans have also taken to Twitter to pay their respects to the star.
