A second season of Big Little Lies could be closer than you think

It's our new favourite TV show and it looks like HBO's Big Little Lies could be in line for a second series. The plot of Liane Moriarty's book is all wrapped up in the 7 episodes of season 1, but lucky for fans, stars Reese Witherspoon and Laura Dern have indicated they'd be open to another season. EEP. Speaking to Vanity Fair Director Jean-Marc Vallèe was pretty adamant that this was a one season run, but now Moriarty herself has waded in and given us all a big pile of hope. Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald Moriarty said there have been talks amongst the producers of the addictive drama about the possibility of a second season,

“I have started to think about ways this could continue,” she admitted. “I wouldn’t write a new book, but perhaps a new story, and then we’ll see what happens... there's definitely places you can go”

Nothing concrete but talks are underway and that's good enough for us... for now.
