The Script has issued a warning ahead of the upcoming Dublin concerts

Laura Holland

The Script has issued a warning to people attending their upcoming Freedom Child Tour, including their Dublin concerts in the 3Arena on February, 9 and 10.

Speaking to fans on Facebook they said, “Some important security information if you’re coming any shows on the #FreedomChildTour…” then issued a formal notice advising people to be careful when attending the concerts, in particular, to be wary of thefts.

In the notice they said:

“We advise that you turn up well before we take to the stage, don’t leave it too late and end up queuing in the cold with minutes to spare. Security checks and searches will continue irrespective of whether you turn up late.

Please leave big bags and rucksacks at home, any bags over A4 size will not be allowed into the venue. There are no exemptions.

You may have heard or read in the media about a spate of mobile phone thefts at music venues.

Professional gangs have been targeting unsuspecting members of the audience at numerous venues and stealing their mobile phones.

Please take care of your personal items and if you are aware of any suspicious activity, please inform the venue security. The memories on your phone are worth keeping safe.”
