Piers Morgan quits Good Morning Britain after Meghan Markle blow up

It's just been announced that Piers Morgan has left his role at Good Morning Britain. In a statement, ITV said: "Following discussions with ITV, Piers Morgan has decided to now is the time to leave Good Morning Britain. In the interview, Markle revealed that she had previously had suicidal thoughts after marrying Prince Harry, due to the amount of criticism and abuse she was receiving from the UK press and public. Addressing these claims on GMB yesterday, Morgan said "I'm sorry, I don't believe a word she said", adding that he "wouldn't believe it if she read me a weather report." Morgan stormed off the set this morning when his colleague, Alex Beresford, condemned Piers' treatment of Meghan in the previous day's show.
