PICTURED! It’s Harry and Meghan’s first public engagement together

Apparently it’s only a matter of time until their 2018 wedding date is announced.

And now Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been pictured together for the first time at an official public engagement.

They had arrived at a tennis match at the Invictus Games – a semi final between Australia and New Zealand – hand-in-hand and looking totally loved up.

They then proceeded to sit beside one another for the duration of the game, gazing into each other’s eyes (no, actually!) and generally looking like a pretty perfect couple.

Over the weekend, Ms Markle had made her royal debut at the Invictus Games, which is being held in Toronto.

Of course, this is a couple very much together against the odds: she’s American, 36, an actress, and divorced; he’s a member of the British royal family, 33, very famous, and oh-so loaded.

On that occasion, sadly, the couple weren’t seated together – 18 seats apart to be exact… making the tennis match a particularly milestone moment.

Ms Markle also currently resides in Toronto while she films the US legal drama, Suits.

She has been dating the prince since July of last year and Meghan attended the almost-royal wedding of Pippa Middleton and James Matthews over the summer
