Parents of hit-and-run victim Kevin Bell claim massive lottery windfall

After Colin and Eithne Bell lost their 26-year-old son Kevin in a hit and run incident in New York in 2013, they set up a repatriation fund to help people like them to fly deceased loved ones home from abroad. Their years of generosity have helped many parents out of financial difficulty at the most trying time in their lives, which makes news of Colin and Eithne Bell's £1m National Lottery win all the sweeter. "Absolutely, yeah," replied his dad. "It's Kevin looking after us." Colin explained how, after Kevin was killed in 2013, over £100,000 was raised to bring him home from the United States. They were left with a lump sum so decided to set up the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, an organisation that would help other families in similar difficulty.
