I mean… it’s a scorcher for us!
It looks like the capital will be bathing in some long overdue sunshine as Met Éireann predicts temperatures will soar to 20 degrees all week, and after the summer we’ve had it’s very much welcome.
The national forecast for the rest of the week is also looking promising with temperatures climbing to 23 degrees in some parts of the country. Met Eireann says it will be warm and humid initially, gradually turning cooler from the northeast from midweek.
Largely dry over the eastern half of the country today with sunny spells, but some showers will affect western parts, possibly heavy & prolonged at times later. Warm & humid, with highs 18 to 23C. There will be sunny intervals in the east and it’s expected to remain warm and humid across the country with the odd shower throughout the week, but honestly it wouldn’t be the Ireland we know and love without the showers.
All hail the Indian summer!
