Met Éireann pinpoint when temperatures are set to soar to 25 degrees

Simon Kelly

Better late than never.

Despite a rainy bank holiday, Met Éireann is giving us some late summer hope by predicting that temperatures are set to rise for this upcoming weekend.

The national forecaster has pinpointed that the country will see the mercury jump to 25 degrees on Sunday, August 11.

In the run-up to then, it will be warm, humid and generally dry this weekend with heavy rain possibly holding off till later on Sunday.

However, it’s not all good news, as today is set to bring some ‘bursts’ of rainfall, and rain is expected to return for early next week, so best to enjoy it while we can.

Check out the full national forecast for the upcoming weekend below.
