A man has died in Cavan after being stabbed.
The 40-year-old was on Dublin Street, in Ballyjamesduff in Co Cavan at approximately 11pm yesterday when the incident occurred.
According to RTÉ, he was removed to Cavan General Hospital where he was treated for the serious stab wounds, but died this morning at 9:30am.
The scene has been cordoned off for a technical examination.
