So exciting.
Since RTE’s Home-School Hub started just over a month ago, my kids have been glued to it.
The Home-School Hub offers an hour of school a day for children in lockdown, as well as additional resources on the RTE website.
Home-School Hub has covered a lot over the last few weeks with everything from the Irish language, science, history and music to name but a few, but this week Home-School Hub gets even more creative.
This week Home-School Hub dives into the exciting world of film making.
During the week viewers will get a behind the scenes look from Cartoon Saloon, and will be shown a selection of films that kids have made.
There will also be a special class held by one of the most talked about directors at the moment, Lenny Abrahamson.
Responsible for directing the first chunk of Normal People episodes, Abrahamson is also credited with a series of other Irish films including What Richard Did, Frank, and Room.
Home-School Hub airs Monday to Friday on RTE2 at 11am. If you miss it you can watch it on the RTE Player.
