“We do apologise to local residents who are affected by this.”
People living near Blanchardstown have complained to the new Krispy Kreme store over excessive noise late at night.
It came to light after many residents complained that they couldn’t sleep over car horns coming from the drive-thru of the 24-hour doughnut store.
Krispy Kreme has since apologised, noting that they’re getting signage made to ask customers to please not beep their horns while queuing.
The store also announced that they’re looking into sorting the traffic congestion around the store which has been a major issue since the store first opened last week.
“We are also engaging with the centre management team to control traffic congestion in the store vicinity. We are working to prevent this and we ask all customers coming to the drive thru to respect the area and the residents who live nearby” the statement reads.
Since the store opened, many people have taken to Twitter to share images of the traffic congestion in wait for donuts.
