Trains between Connolly and Pearse Station have been suspended this afternoon, due to a bomb scare in Dublin City Centre.
It’s believed that a suspect device was discovered on Townsend Street in Dublin 2 earlier today and an army bomb disposal unit is currently at the scene.
According to The Irish Times, the possible bomb was found shortly after 2.30pm and several roads have been temporarily sealed off.
As a result, all trains through the centre of the city have been halted, with Irish Rail confirming the news on Twitter.
