An investigation has been launched after six people were trapped 200ft up in air after an amusement ride in Tramore became stuck.
Yesterday evening, six people had to be rescued after the “chair-o-lane” ride suffered a mechanical failure at the seaside resort in Co Waterford.
Emergency services managed to get the six people, two women and four children who were said to be staying at Fitzmaurice’s Caravan and Camping Park, down safely.
The Health and Safety Authority has been notified about the incident, which was caught on camera by Lucy Aughney…
