The proposed strike is scheduled to take place this Friday.
Iarnród Éireann has this week advised customers of service arrangements should threatened industrial action by NBRU and SIPTU train drivers go ahead this coming Friday, November 6th.
“Intercity and Commuter services which commence prior to 06.00hrs are expected to operate as normal to their end destination,” a statement from the rail service read.
“All Intercity, DART and Commuter services scheduled to depart between 06.00hrs and 09.00hrs are cancelled.
“There will be some consequent disruption after 09.00hrs, and full details are on our website,” the statement continued, before adding that the “arrangements may be subject to change at short notice.”

“We apologise for the inconvenience caused to travel plans by this threatened industrial action.”
It was also stated that rail tickets “will not be valid on services of other public transport providers.”

Industrial action previously took place on the Bank Holiday Friday, October 23rd and caused major disruption for commuters.
