Harry Potter afternoon tea is now a thing and here’s where to find it

Afternoon tea – the height of sophistication many would say, and now, with a touch of magic!

Well the four-star Colwick Hall Hotel in Nottingham has created just that and in the most entertaining way.

This October and November, guest and visitors can indulge in a few ‘Philosophers scones,’ ‘Slytherin finger sandwiches and even some scrumptious ‘pumpkin pasties’ and ‘cheese wands.’

And don’t worry. If you’ve already decided you’re heading there this instant, but you really do want a yummy afternoon tea, don’t let the names fool you… the menu sounds utterly delish!

Sandwich varieties include chicken and cranberry, rare roast beef and horseradish, mature cheddar and tomato relish plus roast veggies with lots of hummus too! *drool*

Adding to the magical afternoon tea of witchcraft and wizardry are fixtures like the Leaky Cauldron, the Hogwart’s express – delivering your scrumptious chocolates – and Voldemort’s Victoria Sponge.

Marked on the calendar is an extraordinary Harry Potter Halloween Party during the mid-term break if you might be thinking of a special treat for any of the kids.

Right, we think they’ve won us over. Time to make an autumn trip to Nottingham!
