Gardaí have launched an investigation after a body was discovered at a busy Dublin city bridge.
The body of an unidentified man was found on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 26th, at Spencer Bridge.
The Coroner has been notified, and the body was removed from the scene and taken to Dublin City Mortuary at Whitehall for a post-mortem examination to be carried out.
Foul play is not currently suspected.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who has recently been in the Spencer Dock/Guild Street area and may have information to offer regarding this incident to make contact with investigating Gardaí.
