A Ryanair flight from Brussels to Malta was diverted to Pisa after a number of passengers on board engaged in violent behaviour. The incident occurred on Tuesday night, and was captured on video by another passenger on board the flight.
A number of passengers and staff helped to restrain those who were getting violent with an air stewardess reportedly being slapped in the face.
A spokesperson for Ryanair told the Independent “The aircraft landed normally and four passengers were removed and detained by police upon arrival, before the aircraft continued to Malta.”
The spokesperson also stressed that no emergency landing was made.
