A flight has been grounded at Madrid airport following a bomb threat.

The Daily Mail reported that alarms were raised in Madrid’s Barajas airport on a Saudi Airlines flight, bound for Riyadh, due to a possible bomb threat.

A Spanish journalist Ignacio Cembrero first broke the news through Twitter.

The flight was taxiing to the runway when the alarm was raised.

The alert has since been called off when it was confirmed that there was no bomb on the plane.
