A South-Korean man has died after a student jumped to his death and landed on him.
Yang Dae-jin, 39, was killed when a 25-year-old student jumped from the 20th floor of a building, according to the Korea Times reports.
They report that he was travelling home at the time, with his pregnant wife and their five-year-old son, when the student landed on him.
He sustained head injuries and later died in hospital, while the student died instantly.
A police officer said, “We are considering charging the student with accidental homicide. The case will be concluded without indictment as the student is dead, but this procedure is expected to help Yang’s family receive compensation.”
