A number of homes across the country have been left without power this evening following a fault on the lines.
Over 5,000 homes in Dublin, Kerry, Leitrim and Galway were without power this evening, with many still waiting for services to be restored.
ESB Networks have said they are addressing the problem and have been keeping customers updated in both English and Gaeilge on the progress of the work.
