After the dust settled on the horrifically poor scare attempts they got down to business and Áine Mulloy kicked things off by explaining how things are booming in the world of GirlCrew. For those who don't know, GirlCrew is an interactive social media platform for women. It was born on a lazy Friday night when founder Elva Carri changed her gender status on Tinder to try and find some girls to go out with. In the process, she inadvertently stumbled upon a community of women all looking for the same thing, and thus GirlCrew was born (listen in at 2:32 for more info this booming tech-based social business).
Seen as it's Halloween, the ladies quickly got onto the pressing matter of whether ghosts exist and Alison admitted to having a teenage dalliance with a Ouija board:Perfect listening for cooking and eating a fry ? ? @Niamh_Maher @AlisonSpittle @AineMulloy PS Ballybeg is a real place in Waterford!! https://t.co/lferUfOD1p

"My mother used to always say don't do a Ouija board or you'll end up in a mental hospital or don't ride a fella you don't love because you'll end up in a mental hospital, so I was always curious about it. When I was 14 I had a goth friend and we decided one night to go for it".Alison explained how she quickly became terrified and reverted to taking 'ghost' notes instead of participating:
"I got too scared so I took out a notebook like I was at a general meeting of a residents association and took down the minutes of a meeting between a bunch of teenagers and a ghost".You couldn't write what happened next, but it truly is the stuff of teenage dreams:
"We asked our ghost do you like tea? It said yes... then we asked, do you like biscuits? It said yes... Then one of my friends asked, do you feel lonely where you are? and it went very slowly but very strongly toward yes. Then we thought it was getting a bit deep and we left him there, so we ghosted a ghost".Listen in at 31.27 to hear more terrifying tales.
