Two people have reportedly been killed in an early morning police operation in Paris.
According to AFP, three more people have been arrested following the operation in north Paris.
It has also been reported that a number of police officers have been injured during the incident, which is believed to have started at about 4.30am this morning (3.30am Irish time).
According to reports, a number of suspects connected to last Friday’s attacks in Paris, including Abdelhamid Abaaoudwere, were believed to be hiding out in an apartment in the area of Saint Denis where the incident is taking place.

Sky News have reported that at least seven explosions have been heard in the area. Local residents have been evacuated and the area has been sealed off.

Saint Denis Mayor Didier Paillard has suspended public transport and schools in the centre of town will not open today.
