Dynasty Star Kate O’Mara Dies At The Age Of 74

Former Dynasty star Kate O’Mara has passed away at the age of 74 after a short illness in a Sussex nursing home, her agent Phil Belfield has confirmed. The actress was best known for playing the character of Alexis Colby’s sister, Caress Morrell on the popular 80’s show. O’Mara’s other credits include Doctor Who, Absolutely Fabulous and Howard’s Way. "She was extraordinary, she had so much energy and vitality with a love for theatre and acting," Belfield said. "A shining star has gone out and Kate will be dearly missed by all who knew and have worked with her."
