Davina McCall has split from her husband after 17 years

This has shocked the showbiz world.

Davina McCall has split from her husband Matthew Robertson after 17 years of marriage. The couple got married in 2000 and have 3 children together, 16-year-old Holly, 14-year-old Tilly and 11-year-old Chester. In the past Davina has been very honest about their marriage and opened up about going to counseling together. They appeared to be going well two years ago when they renewed their vows. Confirming the news of their break-up, Davina released the following statement through The Sun:

"I am very sad to say Matthew and I have separated. Our amazing children are our number one priority."

"This is a devastating time for Davina. She has been very open about how hard she has worked to save the marriage for so many years. Eventually the time comes when you have to accept it’s not going to work.”

The news follows a very cryptic Instagram post Davina sent two days ago where she said, "I really know about this one... I have made so many mistakes in my life ... but there is always a new day." She then posted a quote which read, "Every morning we get a chance to be different. A chance to change. A chance to be better. Your past is your past. Leave it there. Get on with the future part.”
