The magazine Charlie Hebdo was famed for its satirical, holds-no-punches approach to news reporting.
The ISIS attack on its offices last January saw 11 people killed. At the time, ISIS cited their disrespect of religion as the motivation for the attack.
Following Friday’s bombings, staff cartoonist Joann Sfar drew a series of cartoons depicting Paris’ lust for life, love and passion.
The new cover of the magazine now seems to be a testament to those statements.
The cartoon shows a character enjoying champagne and dancing. The caption translates as “They have weapons, fuck them. We have champagne”.

It’s a powerful statement about France’s resilience, lust for life and fearlessness.
