Her father, Richard Sutherland, said to those helping search for his daughter on Saturday: “I just want to say a massive thank you for coming out. It is very heart warming and the support gives us a lot of hope.”
The campaign to find the student was supported by a massive social media drive which garnered significant traction. Hundreds of missing person posters have also been distributed across the UK.
On Friday, Ms Pope’s mother, Natasha, said she has not given up hope her daughter will be found alive, stating: “I believe miracles can happen.”
