Breaking: Man found dead at southside Luas stop this morning

Very tragic.

Gardaí are investigating all of the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a male body in Ranelagh this morning. The 22-year-old was discovered with a head injury at around 4.40am outside the Luas stop on Ranelagh Road. He was taken by an ambulance to St James Hospital, however, he was pronounced dead on arrival. The scene is preserved for technical examination and the Coroner has been notified. Gardaí are seeking the public's help to see if anyone saw anything suspicious around 4 or 5am this morning. Gardaí are currently waiting for results of the post-mortem examination will determine the investigation.
