Breaking: FBI find NO criminality in Hillary Clinton email scandal

Cassie Delaney

With days until the US vote on their new president, Hillary Clinton has been cleared of all charges over an email scandal.

According to The Telegraph, FBI Director James Comey told Congress on Sunday a recent review of newly discovered emails did not change the agency’s conclusion reached in July that no charges were warranted in the case of Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

The investigation centered around the possible mishandling of ‘classified’ information by Hillary Clinton and top aides.

The controversy began in March 2015 when it became known that during her time as United States Secretary of State, Clinton had used her family’s private email server for official communications.

Those communications included thousands of emails.

Throughout, Clinton maintained that her use of personal email was in compliance with federal laws and State Department regulations and that former secretaries of state had also maintained personal email accounts, though not their own private email servers.

On Friday, one of the emails was shared by Newyorker.com editor Nicholas Thompson and it was abundantly clear that Clinton was not involved in any criminal behavior.

The writer and journalist took to Twitter to share a screenshot of one of the emails and it reveals that Clinton is in fact, terribly nice and terribly boring.

In the email Clinton asks a woman named Monica for skim milk for tea and requests the airing times for Parks and Recreation and The Good Wife.

It’s entirely banal. Of course this, and the other emails have not been confirmed by Clinton but the tone and content of them all seems to be consistent.
