Post-mortems in Galway today have revealed that the body of 21-year-old Ben Garrett has been recovered from the sea.
Originally from Castlebar, Co Mayo, Ben had been missing since the 31st of March after a night in Carbon nightclub. According to The Irish Times, Ben had been celebrating after marching in the Easter Sunday military parade in Dublin.
The discovery was one of two bodies recovered from the sea this weekend.
Tests on the other body which was discovered 1km south of Hare island in Galway Bay, are continuing.
It is suspected that it may be that of Anthony Henehan who has been missing since March 10th.
Our thoughts are with both families at this time.
