Beast from the East 3 has been mentioned and we can’t handle it

No, no, NO.

We're just after Beast from the East 2.0 when heavy snow hit seven counties on Saturday night/Sunday morning and of course, no one really believed it would actually happen. It all felt a bit too soon given that we're only getting over Storm Emma and there is of the course the important point that it's now nearing the end of MARCH and snow should be long gone. However, if reports are to be believed, we could be in for a freezing Easter with early indications suggesting another dramatic fall in temperatures. The UK-based Met Office predicts that the weather will turn colder around the 29 March which would mean a very cold Easter weekend.

The current cold snap ends in the next couple of days but there is a high chance of cold and snow returning for the Easter period based upon latest model data and Met Office guidance.

Joyful altogether considering the most recent snowfall also happened on a bank holiday weekend resulting in the cancellation of multiple events, including the homecoming for our triumphant rugby Grand Slam winners. The reason for the latest cold spell is thought to be slow-moving weather systems and if reports are to be believed, 'Beast from the East 3' could hit between Thursday, 29 March and Tuesday, April 3 as reported by JOE.co.uk. If this does occur in the UK, there is a chance it will have a knock-on effect in Ireland but for now, we're just going to keep calm and hope that the Beast from the East takes a well-deserved holiday. Although these are early predictions and they are of course subject to change, it's better to be prepared for all eventualities given the upheaval caused by the weather in recent weeks.
