Tributes have been pouring in following the murder of mum-of-two Anna Mooney.
The mum was stabbed to death at her Raheny home on June 15th. Emergency services were contacted following the incident, but she was later pronounced dead at her home in Kilbarrack Road in Dublin.
She is survived by her children, daughter Nicole and her son Ivan. It is believed they were in the house at the time of their mother’s murder.
The 46-year-old has been fondly remembered by her loved ones following her tragic death.
One wrote, “You loved your family so much and your children will always feel and know your love for them.”
Another also wrote, “A beautiful mother, gone too soon. Watch over your babies.”
Anna Mooney, née Shupikova (46), who was murdered in her home on Kilbarrack Rd, Dublin 5, on Thursday.
She was a mother of 2 children and was originally from Ukraine but had been living in Ireland for many years.
Her husband, Stephen Mooney (51), is charged with her murder.

Women’s Aid also issued a statement following Anna’s untimely passing:
“Our thoughts and condolences are with Anna’s children, family, friends, work colleagues, and wider community who mourn a life stolen through violence. Anna Mooney, 46, was a mother of two children, who were at home in Raheny at the time of her murder.”
Stephen Mooney (51) has been charged with the murder of Anna Mooney.
