Amy Huberman creates powerful t-shirt for International Day of the Girl Child

As UN International Day of the Girl Child is approaching (Oct 11), Amy Huberman has teamed up with Hairy Baby Tees to create a t-shirt that highlights the important day with all profits going to Plan International Ireland to help girls across the globe who are struggling in poverty, in danger or without a voice and a choice to be and do what they want. The t-shirts written in Irish say "This Cailín Can" to remind young girls that they can be as ambitious and as powerful as they desire. Speaking about International Day of the Girl and Plan International Ireland, Amy said:

"Plan International is an international charity fighting for the rights of children, especially girls, who live in the poorest regions of the world. Girls in the developing world are more likely to live in extreme poverty, denied access to school and often forced into marriage while still a child."
