Amazon has slashed the price of two of its most popular Kindle devices ahead of its Boxing Day sale.
The latest gen Amazon Kindle has dropped to €91.80 in a limited time deal.
Usually priced at €108.42, this is a 16% discount on the popular device, which marks its best price of the year when excluding Black Friday.
The latest version of the Kindle is the lightest and most compact to date, with glare-free display, faster page turns, and adjustable front light.
It has 16GB of storage space, and promises long battery life, with up to six weeks usage on a single charge.
The Kindle has a 4.6 star rating from more than 12,000 shoppers, and has already been snapped up 5,000 times in the past month.
One customer said in their five-star review: "Absolutely stunning. Was thinking for a while on which one to buy, but as I've never had one before I thought I'd go with the cheapest to see how it goes.
"It's in black and white which is absolutely fine, I don't need colour to read the pages, it's tiny, smaller than expected but super light to hold and I'm glad it's so small! I've read 5 books now in less than a month and had the ad free version."
Another wrote: "One of the best e-readers with compact size that can fit in my pocket and good for reading while travelling. I love the colour very much and it is light to hold in hand for long time."
While a third said: "No problems at all with the new Kindle basic model. It suits my needs very well: it’s clear, easy to hold and has a light. The ads are not a problem but act as a screensaver."
As well as the classic Kindle, shoppers can also bag a discount on the Kindle Paperwhite, which has dropped by 15%.
Usually priced at €194.02, you can purchase this edition of the Kindle for €165.49.
The 7-inch display has a higher contrast ratio and 25% faster page turns, with a glare-free screen so pages stay sharp no matter where you are.
You can adjust the display from white to amber, so you can still read whether you're in bright sunlight or in the dark.
While a single charge will help it last up to 12 weeks, which is double the classic Kindle.
More than 9,000 shoppers have given this version an average rating of 4.6 stars on Amazon.
One said in their five-star review: "I've been reading on Kindles since the Kindle Voyage. Recently upgrading to the new 12th gen Paperwhite, this is by far the best reader I've used.
"The dark mode combined with warm lighting is a delight for night time reading without disturbing anyone else. It is bright for day reading and perfectly dark for easy on the eyes night time reading. The high resolution display looks like paper. I cannot recommend enough."
