If you’re travelling today, then good news, as Aer Lingus is offering priority boarding to all women taking flights out of Ireland to other European cities.

The offer applies to short-haul flights from Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Knock and Belfast to the UK and the rest of Europe only for today, Thursday, March 8.

The company is also promoting one of the its Dublin to New York flights, which will be managed by female staff and crew. It’s not the first time this has happened but a brilliant way to celebrate the day.

Speaking about the offer, Davina Pratt of Aer Lingus, has said:

“We are delighted to highlight International Women’s Day today by offering Priority Boarding to all females travelling on our short haul flights out of Ireland.

I firmly believe in recognising and supporting female talent.

At Aer Lingus we are proud to employ more than 2,000 females and I hope this figure will continue to rise as we see more women in visible leadership positions in Aer Lingus and beyond.”
