Actress and comedian Tracey Ullman is grieving the loss of her mother following a house fire in the UK.
It's believed that the apartment where her 85-year-old mother lived in Buckinghamshire caught fire on Monday night and investigators have deemed the blaze a "tragic accident" caused by "careless disposal" of a cigarette.
The 55-year-old is best known for her work on The Tracey Ullman Show and has released a statement confirming the sad news.
"Tracey and her family are deeply saddened by the death of her mother, Doreen. The family would like to thank everyone for the kind messages they have received and ask that their privacy be respected at this difficult time."
Ullman recently starred alongside Meryl Streep in Into The Woods.
