A terrifying Facebook status warned followers of a mass shooting in Orlando, Florida.
Pulse nightclub posted a status telling night club goers to run around 3am this morning. The nightclub was the scene of a mass shooting in which multiple injuries have occurred.
Reports state there is at least one gunman who has barricaded himself in the club and up to 20 victims are believed to have been shot.
It is believed the gunman is holding hostages in the club.
One Facebook user was at the scene.
“People on the dance floor and bar got down on the floor and some of us who were near the bar and back exit managed to go out through the outdoor area and just ran. I am safely home and hoping everyone gets home safely as well,” writes Ricardo Almodovar.
Pulse nightclub is located just 3.5 miles from the venue where singer Christina Grimmie was shot dead.
