Sad news.
A 40-year-old man has died following a heart attack at Pantibar, in Dublin. According to The Independent, it’s believed he suffered a heart attack before falling down a set of stairs at the venue.
His body was discovered at 2am on Saturday at which point the emergency services were called.
Two units of the Dublin Fire Brigade and the Gardaí attended the scene and his body was brought to the Mater hospital where he was pronounced dead an hour later.
Pantibar commented on their Facebook page about the tragic news saying:
“Everyone at Pantibar is deeply shocked and saddened by what happened last night. Patrick was well known to, and much liked by all the staff, and our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his friends and family.”
