There’s been a major update from Las Vegas.
New reports now confirm that at least 50 people have been killed in the shooting in Las Vegas.
A gunman opened fire at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas last night and it is now said the death toll has risen to 50 from the earlier reported 20.

The number of people injured has also risen from the earlier reported 100 to 200 people.
New reports also confirm that the suspected shooter has been killed, and Sheriff Lombardo of local police named him as 64-year-old Stephen Paddock who lived in the area.

Lombardo also said he was unable to confirm accurately the number of dead, however, he did confirm that two off-duty police officers were among the victims.
