They were once the epitome of young love but now it seems Justin Bieber doesn’t want any reminders of his supposed ex, Selena Gomez, as it is revealed he refuses to sing the reference to her in his new song.
According to reports today, the teen sensation is removing the reference to Selena in single Beauty and a Beat, at least during his live performances.
Nicki Minaj, who features on the track, mentions the singer-turned-actress but Justin has said that not he or anyone else will be singing that line of the song.

Rapper Nicki Minaj features on Justin's track and mentions Selena.
An insider told The Sun: “There’s no way he’s going to be singing it or have anyone else sing it – including Nicki at his concerts.
“He knows it would just rub salt in the wounds for Selena and there would be a huge backlash from his girl fans, so it’s easier forgotten.”

The adorable pair are said to have gone their separate ways.
Although the 18-year-old can’t get rid of the line completely as it was too late to remove it from his new album.
While neither Justin nor Selena have confirmed that they have split, this move supports rumours that the lovebirds are no longer together.
E! News reported this week that they had gone their separate ways due to trust issues and work commitments.
