The kettle is the result of a new collaboration between interiors brand Emma Bridgewater and appliance maker Russell Hobbs. Known for its attractive and feel good designs, Emma Bridgewater is a brand that boasts something of a cult following: once you buy one piece of its collection, you'll need to own them all.
The colourful polka dot pattern on a cream background is one of the signature Emma Bridgewater designs, available on everything from cutlery and crockery to dogs' bowls and canvas shoppers. The polka dot kettle is priced at €89.99, while the matching toaster is priced at €79.99 for the two-slice model and €89.99 for the four-slice version.
Also available are kettles and toaster with Emma Bridewater's 'Toast & Marmalade' designs, which feature the words 'toast's ready, rise & shine' in black on the cream base. Retro appeal teamed with cheery morning wishes – what's not to love?
If you're renting and don't want to invest in big furniture buys until you have your forever home, getting some distinctive appliances can be a good way to put your own stamp on a place. Not only will you use them every single day, but they are easily portable when the time comes to pack up and move.
The Russell Hobbs and Emma Bridgewater collection is available from electrical retailers nationwide.Life
